If you’re building a Christian business, obedience may be the most important strategy no one talks about.

The enemy doesn’t need to destroy your calling. He just needs to keep you distracted from it.

One more month of “I’ll get to the website.”
One more quarter of “I’m still praying about it.”
One more year of good intentions standing in for obedience.

Every day you refuse to move forward is a day borrowed from the person you were called to become.

And I need to clear something up, because Proverbs 13:4 is constantly used to justify the grinding harder, sleeping less, and calling burnout a testimony that today’s hustle culture promotes:

It says, “Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.”

But a few verses later, Proverbs 13:11 tells us that wealth from get-rich-quick schemes disappears, while wealth from hard work grows over time.

Together, these verses show us a biblical business principle hustle culture often misses: faithful, diligent work produces something shortcuts never can. This isn’t about working harder just to look productive. It’s about faithfully working in the direction God is leading you, and taking the harder, scarier step He has already placed in front of you.

Because procrastination can look a lot like patience when we give it spiritual language.

Stewardship isn’t only about money. It’s also your time, gifts, opportunities, calling, and yes, your business strategy.

Faith says, “I’m called.”
Works say, “I’m willing to move.”

Because faith without works is useless.

(James 2:20 said it, not me. I’m just the messenger)😉

You don’t need the entire plan before you begin.

Obedience might look like writing the email, publishing the website, naming the offer, opening the shop, or taking the next step while your voice still shakes.

Two years ago I sat with my oncologist and understood something I couldn’t unknow.
