“Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.”

Every car has that warning stamped right into the glass.

And lately, I’ve been in waiting season. In the dessert. And God has met me there with this reminder…

That breakthrough you’ve been asking God for?
The clients who actually get it?
The version of your business that doesn’t feel like you’re building it alone at midnight?

It feels far away in the rearview because everything behind you looks small and everything ahead of you looks uncertain.

But distance and perspective are two different things.

You are closer than it looks.

Here’s what nobody tells you about the waiting season: it’s not empty. It’s not wasted. It’s not God forgetting where you parked your calling.

Habakkuk 2:3 says the vision has its appointed time, it hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail. It will not delay.

Not “if.” Will not.

The mirror isn’t lying to you. Your eyes are just bad at judging distance when you’re moving forward and looking back at the same time.

So keep building. Keep showing up in obedience even when the metrics don’t match the mission yet. Keep doing the unglamorous, unseen, unposted work of actually getting clear on who you are and who you’re for.

What looks far away right now is closer than it appears.

What’s the thing you’ve been convinced is still miles off? Tell me below - let’s remind each other it’s closer than we think. 🤍

Hot take: posting more is not going to fix a business people don’t understand.

Neither is another Canva template.
Another funnel.
Another offer.
Another “content strategy” you’ll faithfully follow for approximately nine business days.

If your best clients come from referrals…

If people “get it” once you explain it…

If you keep tweaking your website, rewriting your bio, changing your offers, or wondering why women who are no better at this seem easier to find…

You may not have a visibility problem.

You may have a clarity problem.

And the annoying part?

You’re probably too close to your own business to see which kind.

So I made a free Business Clarity Quiz to help you figure out what’s actually getting in the way—and what to focus on next.

You’ll find out if you’re:

✨ The Best-Kept Secret
✨ The Brilliant but Blurry
✨ The Overbooked Dreamer
✨ The Clear & Called CEO

And you’ll get 3 specific areas to focus on so you can stop throwing random strategies at the wall and calling it discernment. 😅

Comment QUIZ and I’ll send you the link.

Calling it out here friends…

If your website (or marketing or IG) is built to speak to the people who are already following you and working with you…

Um. You’ve missed the point, entirely.

Want to know who your site is talking to, what it’s conveying and get 3 simple steps to fix any areas you need some support? Comment CLARITY and I’ll send you a link to book your 1:1 Called to Clarity session!

Together, we’ll pinpoint exactly where your communication is missing the mark, and build you a specific 90-day plan to fix it!
